ST JOHN’S ROMAN CATHOLIC SCHOOL, DUNDEE
Durability, acoustic insulation, and cost-effective construction have made XPR systems the preferred solution for a multi-million pound project in Dundee. St John’s Roman Catholic High School is currently undergoing extensive works to renew existing buildings and provide new facilities.
XPR W1 system is proving much faster to install than block work, and being multi-purpose, the system also satisfies a range of performance demands. Ron Mitcham, Senior Architect at Dundee City Council comments: “XPR provides good acoustic insulation between classrooms and being impact-resistant can withstand the heavy wear and tear of a school environment. The system also has an exceptional load bearing capacity, so there’s no problem with fixing cabinets, shelves and notice boards, for example.”
